I’ll be out this friday & most Fridays in the summer (unlessin if it’s raining then we hide in our shells like turtles). Merivale and Meadowlands goes on every friday night during “summer” at dark o clock. I went there and met some nice guys last time. Wide variety of cars, own parks with own. Since there was only one other J body that showed up way after me, I just parked at the end of the supra row, (with permission of course).
Mostly rice, but wide variety of random cars such as a pair of Deloreans, Vaxhaull some 60’s Dodge van and on and on. In the right of my photo you can see some big old lincoln.
As far as I can tell the rules are thus:
1) Patronize the tim hortons
2) Don’t be a dick and do burnouts/bang it off the rev limiter. The cops often show up but just be chill and they will be chill.
3) Throw your tim’s cup in the garbage. Tim’s is nice enough to tolerate our lot take over so make sure you drink some coffee.

I’ve heard about this before, but have yet to attend. Will have to change that sometime this summer. At sunset, eh? Will keep it in mind.

There’s a cars and coffee Every. Single. Day. from May to September in Ottawa. What a great place to live. This is a good one, but the cops often have to break it up.

Is there? I thought the wednesdays at the casino stopped. The cops were there, but things didn’t get too hot. But like any meet there’s nice guys and there’s meat heads.

Sunday I was on the main Wellington drag downtown between sussex and bank. I went to work for a while. Saturday I wasn’t around. But I do have both of those things. Saturday I was over around Main St and then Vanier where I live. I talked to guys at M & M and they said that “every year everyone says it’s going to be moved” and then it never is. This is what my ride looks like by the way.

Oh so apparently last year, Target did not like the meets to the cops showed up a lot and told people to leave. This year no targets and tim/wendys rake it in, so no problems. So far.

Its nothing special, just cones set up on a circle track. Sometimes they ask for 5 bucks but there are no rules and it’s always a ton of fun. We’re also not sure it’ll happen this year since the track can’t find anyone to manage it for this year.
